Rita McMillan

Dr. Rita McMillan brings a wealth of experience in business, education, and community service to her role as a Board Member at Amador Health Center. A retired educator and entrepreneur, she holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, as well as a certification in Digital Marketing from the American Marketing Association and the Digital Marketing Institute. Dr. McMillan has a long history of leadership and service on nonprofit boards, including the Minority Economic Development Institute, Junior Achievement of New Orleans, and the founding board of a charter school in South Carolina. Her work has consistently focused on improving access to education, economic opportunity, and community development—especially for underserved and minority populations. Deeply aligned with Amador’s mission, Dr. McMillan is committed to supporting health equity and ensuring that quality, inclusive care is accessible to all members of the community. She brings valuable insight, energy, and a lifelong dedication to service to her role on the board.
