Dr. Eugene Marciniak, MD

Dr. Eugene Marciniak, a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine, comes to the Amador Health Center with over 30 years of experience in community and public health. He has served as a primary care physician and medical director in El Paso, Texas, and South Florida community health centers. He served as the regional health officer for the NM Department of Health in Las Cruces for over 20 years, overseeing the treatment of tuberculosis cases, sexually transmitted infections, the Title X family planning program, immunizations, school health, opioid dependent persons using buprenorphine, and reportable disease outbreaks. Over the years, he has been a clinical preceptor for numerous nurse practitioner students, family medicine residents, internal medicine residents from the Las Cruces area, and medical students from the University of New Mexico. Dr. Marciniak is board-certified in both internal medicine and preventive medicine.
