Department: Amador Recovery
Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt (24-32 hours, Mon-Fri)
Hourly Rate: $16-$18
Reports to: Program Director
Position Summary:
Amador Health Center is seeking a dedicated Recovery Caseworker to support person-centered recovery. The Caseworker will function as a Case Manager Assistant (CMA), providing enabling services focused on social determinants of health (SDOH). Key responsibilities include assisting individuals with substance misuse or mental health conditions in achieving stability and self-sufficiency through engagement, support, and community resource navigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach & Engagement: Conduct outreach in various community settings, provide harm reduction services (e.g., Narcan/naloxone), and respond to inquiries about recovery services.
- Client Support: Assist clients with enrollment and orientation, benefit applications, and referrals to community resources.
- Program Navigation: Coordinate client activities at a drop-in wellness center and manage client progress through motivational incentives.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain client records and ensure HIPAA and confidentiality standards compliance.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Human or Social Services, eligible for NM Certified Peer Support Worker* (CPSW).
- Strong communication skills, including experience working with individuals of varied backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and liability insurance.
